Macramè is a traditional crafting technique that’s been adapted to create contemporary textiles – every piece is created by hand & the process is best described as the art of tying decorative knots using cotton threads/strings. Materials like cotton twine, jute, hemp, or yarn are popular.
A versatile form of fiber art, macramé can be used to make everything from wall hangings to plant hangers, jewellery, purses and even clothing items.
our products are mostly handmade. the fabrics are hand loomed – 100% cotton which has been hand spun, hand dyed or block printed. this process takes 2-3 weeks before the final product is completed – this is what we call “slow fashion”.
wood products are all hand carved.
due to hand dyeing, carving and printing please find perfection in any minor imperfections in the colours and finish.
